"Now if you are going to win any battle you have to do one thing. You have to make the mind run the body. Never let the body tell the mind what to do. The body will always give up. It is always tired in the morning, noon, and night. But the body is never tired if the mind is not tired."- George S. Patton, U.S. Army General, 1912 Olympian
Glad you were able to have a good run, despite the post-run coughing spell!
ReplyDeletewoah, SMOKING! take it easy today and your legs should be happy by wednesday!
ReplyDeleteAs weird as it may sound, Not RUnning can actually make you a better runner. Welcome back, and great job on the run. Sori about the coughs though. Good luck with your long run on Wed.
ReplyDeleteawesome run laura! make sure you take it easy (slower running) the rest of the week if that cough starts acting up at all. hope they go away though of course!
ReplyDeleteawesome run!!! hope that cough stays away!
ReplyDeleteYou are awesome, strong, and I’m very proud of you for not taken the easy path. Sometimes it takes low points to make us realize how strong we really are. Keep up the great work, rest well between runs, and set no limits on how far you can go.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are back!! Being sick is NOT FUN!!
