Things to Do Today: Highly Optimistic Version

"Now if you are going to win any battle you have to do one thing. You have to make the mind run the body. Never let the body tell the mind what to do. The body will always give up. It is always tired in the morning, noon, and night. But the body is never tired if the mind is not tired."- George S. Patton, U.S. Army General, 1912 Olympian
Oh no!! Get better ASAP
ReplyDeleteOh no, you poor thing... get well wishes to you!
ReplyDeleteoh no!! feel better! :(
ReplyDeletedump the race if you have to... i had pneumonia in hs and didn't 'catch' it until after i had suffered thru it for like 2 months. not a good idea!
Sorry to hear. Some things are out of our control. I remember training hard for 6 months only to get sick 2 days before the race. I almost talked myself into racing anyway, which would have only set me up for a DNF, or worse yet like a trip to the hospital. My wife finally convinced me it's not worth your health, and this race will be there next year. I'm thankful I listened to reason although my competitive side said go for it.
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm so sorry! Take it easy... I hope you get well soon:(
ReplyDeleteIf it is pneumonia that you have, definitely do not race. health is first priority.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to hear that. I hope you are feeling better now.
